Music Minds
Aims:
Music Mind’s aim is to enhance the potential of youth by developing
the discipline to work collaboratively within a challenging and
competitive environment to produce a performance piece of music that will
be performed at a Music Showcase.
Objectives:

To foster cooperative learning and team work

To encourage experimentation and risk taking

To encourage the use of ICT to produce music

To showcase talented musicians within Greenwich / Lewisham Schools
How It Will Work:
Schools within Lewisham and Greenwich will be invited to enter
students into a music showcase in October 2001. Performers will be given
a theme 5/6 weeks prior to the show and will be awarded scores in a
range of categories. Their pieces need not be original but must reflect
the theme.
Awards will be given for performance, originality
and excellence.
